Global Security Mag: Sumit, giving the current geopolitical turmoil, the cyberattacks and AI challenges, please, can you tell us how Proofpoint is making the World being a better place?
Sumit Dhawan: being a critical control and security layer for our customers. They rely on us to ensure that when it comes to either people or AI being compromised due to targeted attacks or people and AI losing data, we make sure that we provide best-in-class solution to solve those two problems. So that, people can work in this new agentic workspace without having to worry about what they are dealing with, how they’re communicating, and AI can be safely adopted. And the world keeps getting more and more sort of unsafe, if you may, because of AI. But at least our customers should know that to some extent, Proofpoint was built for this. It wasn’t a long time ago when these vulnerabilities and targeted threats were commonplace ten years ago. We were built for this time. So, it doesn’t bother us that now there are going to be more vulnerabilities and more targeted attacks, because our Proofpoint intent-based protection is protecting against that environment, and it’s not just we are protecting one customer at a time. Our entire group of customers is protecting each other through this risk and, and that’s the value proposition our customers get when they join Proofpoint. They don’t adopt a technology; they join a community. And so, that’s our message to the World.
