SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY
An attacker can send a malicious HTTPS packet to Cisco Web
Security Appliance, in order to trigger a denial of service.
Impacted products: AsyncOS, Cisco WSA.
Severity: 2/4.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
The Cisco Web Security Appliance product has a service to manage
received HTTPS (HTTP+TLS) packets.
However, when a malicious packet is received, a fatal error occurs.
An attacker can therefore send a malicious HTTPS packet to Cisco
Web Security Appliance, in order to trigger a denial of service.
