July 2008 by Marc Jacob

MXI Security introduces the new 16 gigabyte Stealth MXPTM and Stealth MXP Passport, the largest-capacity USB portable security devices available in the world today.

Significantly, the MXI Security 16GB Stealth MXP just received FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validation, Certificate number 987, making the Stealth MXP product family the first and only USB portable security devices able to protect up to 16GB of data with AES 256-bit CBC hardware encryption and strong authentication (biometric, password or both). Stealth MXP delivers three-factor authentication for network logins/SSO, remote access, and full disk encryption with total portability.

The new 16GB Stealth MXP versions are ideal for use as a portable desktop, and each device can accommodate up to five users. The largest-ever capacity USB portable security devices enable organization to protect an entire Operating Systems, or virtual workspaces, applications and confidential information for each user, dividing the memory evenly among the users provisioned for each device or allotting different-sized partitions according to individual needs.

The 16GB capacity makes these tiny devices perfect for storing business files such as confidential data and applications, full details of special projects, sales and marketing materials, or even bulky multimedia files without any compromise on data security.

The MXI Security Stealth MXP product family also includes 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacity devices enabling organizations to securely store sensitive information, operating systems, applications, as well as their credentials with the industry’s only all-in-one FIPS 140-2 Level 2 biometric portable security solutions available today.
