February 2016 by Marc Jacob
Cylance, the company that is revolutionizing cybersecurity through the use of artificial intelligence to proactively prevent advanced persistent threats and malware, today announced that it has been positioned the furthest for completeness of visionary in the Visionaries quadrant of the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP).
Gartner uses “market understanding” as one of the evaluation criteria in positioning an endpoint protection platform vendor’s completeness of vision along with offering (product) strategy, innovation and geographic strategy.
“We believe being positioned the furthest for completeness of vision in the Visionaries Quadrant is a powerful validation of our vision of using artificial intelligence and machine learning to level the playing field for organizations struggling with the constant influx of zero-day malware,” said Cylance Founder and CEO Stuart McClure. “We’re enthusiastic about equipping more organizations with our new breed of preventive technology that can stop malware and attacks before they ever execute—an ability that security professionals and C-suite executives in our market know to be absolutely critical.”
