The world’s leading security and fire safety exhibition comes to West Africa

IFSEC West Africa is the brand new security and fire safety event for West Africa and will bring all practitioners in the region together. It will be held on 15-16 February 2011 at the Eko Expo Centre, Lagos, Victoria Island, Nigeria.
IFSEC is a globally recognised brand with established exhibitions in South Africa and India, as well as its flagship event in the UK attracting more than 25,000 professionals. It will be the only place for the West African security and fire safety professionals to source products and services, including: CCTV, access control, physical security, electronic security, vehicle and personnel tracking devices, scanners and manned guarding services.

The Axis Communications South African team will be showcasing company’s latest range of exceptional security products. The company has introduced a range of bundled “easy to install” digital video surveillance kits, intended to provide complete and future-proof IP-based video surveillance solution for Small-to-Medium sized businesses at an affordable price point.

IFSEC West Africa 2011 will also see Inhep Digital Security (IDS) demonstrate its latest innovation in electronic intrusion detection – the X64 - an alarm system that sets new standards in versatility. The X64 has incredible expansion ability from 8 to 64 zones, double the onboard power, an all-new operating system, and is easier to program than ever before, at a price so low it will turn heads.

Visitors will be the first to see the brand new top-of-the range FargoIDcard printers from Bannerbridge, including the DTC1000 entry level printer through to the HDP5000 retransfer printer - that can personalise and apply high security holograms to access control smart and proximity cards.
Sony Professional will have its new range of HD video security cameras on display, to demonstrate its commitment in encouraging the adoption of IP technology in the video security market.

Bosch Security Systems, part of the Bosch group and one of the largest global suppliers of an extensive portfolio of innovative, high-quality products and systems for security, safety and communication will be showcasing a wide range of innovative security systems, including IP cameras, Network and Hybrid video recorders, Fire Protection products and many more.
More than 60 leading industry companies have already confirmed their participation, including big names such as Axis Communications, Kurrent Resources, Dizengoff, G4S, Sony and Y3K.

In addition to having the commitment from a variety of leading suppliers to the security market IFSEC West Africa is supported by different government bodies and industry associations, including Ministry of Interior, The State Security Services and the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and The Nigerian Institute for Industrial Security (NIIS).

IFSEC West Africa will also host a two-day IFSEC West Africa Conference. With violent and financial crime a top priority for businesses and authorities across West Africa, the IFSEC West Africa Security Conference is a forum for national and international security experts to come together and debate the actions now needed to improve security measures. Industry leading figures have confirmed their participation.
