Telehouse Launch New German Data Centre in Frankfurt

Telehouse Holdings Ltd announced it has opened a new German data centre. The 100 per cent share acquisition of one of Germany’s largest colocation providers Databurg GmbH extends the number of Telehouse data centres to 43 in 23 cities across the world adding over 67,000m2 of floor space to its global footprint.
The Tier 3 data centre has access to the DE-CIX, Europe’s second largest Internet exchange with over 400 ISP’s and carriers and located only three kilometres from Frankfurt city centre with vast power supply, ideal for international corporations with requirements for a well-connected point of presence in a strategic and highly secure location with scalable powering abilities. Telehouse Frankfurt will also be directly interconnected to the London, Paris and New York data centres via the Telehouse Global Interlink, an ultra-fast Ethernet IP connection and to the rest of the family of data centres via the KDDI Global network.
Frankfurt is the latest data centre from Telehouse following its global expansion programme in recent years, which have included New York, Hong Kong, South Africa and Istanbul. Telehouse have also expanded its portfolio of managed services in conjunction with its systems integration parent to provide end-to-end ICT solutions to a number of online gaming and media companies, financial institutions and medium-sized businesses.
