Secutech 2011 attracts more than 500 exhibitors

Secutech, the international exhibition and conference for the electronic security, information security, and fire and safety industries expects to attract more than 500 exhibitors and 25,000 professional buyers to its 20 – 21 April, 2011 show at the Nangang Taipei World Trade Center, Taiwan.
Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd said: “This year’s show will be our 14th edition and will feature zones and pavilions for video software, IP equipment, video storage & recording, access control, biometrics, home automation and homeland security. During the show, buyers will be able to see new product launches from world’s leading brands like Brikcom, CNB, Dynacolor, GVD, Hikvision, iCatch, Infinova, ITX, Koukaam, Nuuo, Pinetron, Qnap, Vivotek, Wonwoo and many more.”
Industry platform offers comprehensive programme
This year’s Secutech show will feature many highlights that include:
• The access control / biometrics pavilion featuring 116 booths showcasing a complete range of products and services from IP readers, IP access control solutions, e-home systems, face recognition access control systems, fingerprint biometric systems, palm vein technology to intercoms and electronic magnetic locks to RFID security auditing solutions. Brands on display will include Assa Abloy, ChiYu, Entrypass, Flir, HID, Kaba, Keico, Micro Engine and Rosslare.
• Technology exchanges from invited professionals representing intelligent building organisations and associations from China, Korea and Japan.
• CompoSec, the world’s only event for component suppliers, where participants provide product design solutions for security products.
• The Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) Asia which will focus on HD/megapixel surveillance, software & integration and storage and management. Invited speakers include representatives from Axis, EMC2, Everfocus, Genetec, Hikvision, Intel, Intransa, Milestone, OV, Panasonic, Pivot3 and Vivotek.
• The Camera Excellence Award to determine the world’s best HDcctv and IP HD/megapixel cameras. The awards are open to Secutech 2011 exhibitors and event sponsors who provide high-tech camera solutions in these categories: 3-3.0 megapixel IP camera, 5.0 megapixel IP camera, 650/700 TVL HDcctv (HDMI/SDI) camera and HD and full HD(720P/1080P) IP camera. Voting for the award will take place during the show.
