F-Secure receives Product of the Year award by AV-Comparatives

Rounding off a year of excellent test results, F-Secure Internet Security 2011 has been given the Product of the Year award by AV-Comparatives, one of the major independent testing organizations in the industry.
During 2010, AV-Comparatives has awarded F-Secure seven out of seven Advanced+ scores – the highest possible scores in the different tests measuring the protection and performance of the main antivirus products on the market. F-Secure Internet Security 2011 has also won the Gold Awards for the Whole-Product Dynamic Protection and the lowest rate of false positives.
Andreas Clementi, Chairman of AV-Comparatives, says, “The Whole-Product Dynamic Test is the closest possible simulation of real-world malware protection, or what the average PC user would experience in real life. Beside the On-Demand Detection Test it may be regarded as the most relevant single test. Consequently, we felt this was another good reason to give the Product of the Year award to F-Secure.”
In addition to the excellent test results, AV-Comparatives also notes that F-Secure has made the biggest progress in protecting consumers through innovative technology. F-Secure Internet Security 2011 is also described as a well-designed product with a clear and easy-to-use interface.
