SPIE and EasyVista strengthen their partnership to offer an innovative and secure “services management” solution

September 2022 by Marc Jacob

EasyVista, the global ITSM and ITOM solutions publisher, and SPIE ICS, the French digital services subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, have renewed their partnership. This new contract makes the “EasyVista Service Manager” the national services management platform for SPIE ICS, for both internal use and for use with its customers.

In this renewal, the two French companies have consolidated a business relationship that began back in 2017. To mark the occasion, SPIE ICS has announced that it is strengthening its dedicated EasyVista solutions integration and deployment teams. The main benefits expected from this are increased data security, greater productivity and an improved environmental footprint.

Standardising the handling of IT management contracts
The “EasyVista Service Manager” ITSM platform will be used in all of the SPIE ICS service centres that manage maintenance, IT management, managed service (MSP) and Cloud service (CSP) contracts. As organisations are becoming increasingly decentralised, this solution will allow them to ensure greater traceability of operations carried out by different internal and external players. It promotes agile interconnection within short implementation timeframes and improves service quality control, incident management and even the availability of production resources.

By using the EasyVista ITSM platform, SPIE ICS is choosing to converge its information systems by realigning its activities within a single management tool. This is a choice that will bring structure by enabling its customers to have greater visibility of indicators and to track the performance of the services provided.

Strengthening the information system performance

EasyVista and SPIE ICS are offering their customers end-to-end support to transform their business processes, from the contracting phase to operations, and including consultancy and integration. This support is regulated by agreements and quality processes drawn from the ITIL standard.
EasyVista has SSAE-18 certification and ISO 27001-certified data centres based in France that ensure that data processing complies with the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). SPIE ICS’s managed services activities are also ISO 27001 certified.

Improving risk control

Today, technological independence lies at the heart of the challenges associated with IT services. By strengthening their partnership, EasyVista and SPIE ICS are enabling companies to store and process their data within France, which addresses a real challenge surrounding security and sovereignty.
Furthermore, the “EasyVista Service Manager” solution simplifies the implementation of cybersecurity policies. Thanks to an inventory of IT assets (physical and software-based), it improves risk control in the information system.

Acting to incorporate information system responsibility

In November 2021, SPIE ICS was the first digital services company in the French top 20 to receive the Digital Responsibility label: adopting this tool across all its service activities has simplified the life cycle analysis of its entire managed equipment fleet. An essential prerequisite for measuring and optimising the carbon impact of its customer base.
