Following the recent attacks on OakBend Medical Center, Neeraj Singh, Research & Development Manager for WithSecure Intelligence shares some words on the threat actors involved:
‘Daixin team is a new ransomware group, who first came into appearance in June 2022. This is the second time that Daixin has claimed responsibility for a cyber attack on an organization in the healthcare sector. WithSecure has not seen activities from Daixin Team before but based on our telemetry and incident response engagements, it is quite evident that critical infrastructure assets are high-value targets among ransomware groups.’
