Partnership will provide NFV*-based carrier grade security solutions to Mobile Network Operators to protect networks and subscriber data against attacks
Clavister, a leader in high-performance network security, announced it has joined the Wind River Titanium Cloud ecosystem, a program dedicated to accelerating the deployment of solutions for Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).
By validating and pre-integrating its hardware and software offerings with Wind River Titanium Server, Titanium Cloud ecosystem partner Clavister will optimize its solutions for deployment, accelerating time-to-market for service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs) deploying security infrastructure based on NFV. Service providers and TEMs can confidently select Clavister’s products knowing that they are pre-validated with Titanium Server and ready for deployment in live networks.
The partnership is a key component of Clavister’s strategy to deliver NFV carrier grade solutions to MNOs and will provide carrier grade network security for the transition to NFV addressing key business and technology challenges including:
• Enabling mobile edge cloud, LTE-Backhaul and Packet Core utilization and delivery
• Protect top-line revenue during NFV migration and minimize OPEX to fully leverage the benefits of NFV
• Accelerated deployments of new services offering a distinct competitive advantage to gain market share
• Maximized flexibility through adoption of open solutions
Titanium Server is a carrier grade NFV infrastructure software solution that is designed to meet the stringent "always on" requirements of the telecom industry.
