AVG and ALCATEL ONETOUCH Extend Mobile Security Offering

AVG Technologies N.V. announced that it has extended its offering with ALCATEL ONETOUCH to pre-load AVG AntiVirus Free for Android™ on to its Android handsets.
ALCATEL ONETOUCH has been working with AVG since 2012 to deliver security over mobile and now owners of Android-based ALCATEL ONETOUCH mobile devices will receive AVG AntiVirus FREE for Android™ as part of their purchase. The pre-loaded security application helps protect against viruses and malware, and also provides loss and theft protection through its ability to allow an owner to track and control a smartphone remotely should the owner become separated from it.
AVG AntiVirus FREE for Android™ combines the outstanding features of AVG’s mobile technologies, from safer web browsing, real-time app scanning and privacy controls through to battery and performance tune-ups.
