APTARE StorageConsole Backup Manager Offers CommVault Simpana Customers Centralised View of Multi-Vendor Enterprise IT Environment

APTARE® now supports CommVault Simpana as part of its StorageConsole® Feature Pack Four. APTARE Backup Manager enables CIOs and IT administrators to manage multi-vendor environments and provide solutions for reporting, monitoring, alerting and forecasting. Specifically, CommVault Simpana customers may now access all Backup Manager functions, including (but not limited to):
· Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance – are your backup processes meeting compliance requirements for external or internal audiences?
· Chargeback – backup processes can easily be charged back to the appropriate department based on actual backup resources utilised
· Forecasting – when will your backup environment run out of space based on current utilisation rates?
APTARE support of CommVault Simpana includes backup and recovery in standard, non-virtualised environments and VMWare environments. For enterprise organisations that use CommVault Simpana as their primary backup solution, APTARE provides Independent 3rd party auditing and multiple CommCell reporting capability benefits.
