OT equips brand-new ZTE nubia Z9 family to enable secure NFC applications

Oberthur Technologies (OT) announces that the new nubia Z9 and Z9 Max are equipped with PEARL by OT®, its state-of-the-art NFC embedded Secure Element (eSE) to enable more NFC applications. OT’s advanced eSE opens the door for nubia to deploy convenient payment and transport services in its new flagship smartphones.
The nubia Z9 family will benefit from PEARL by OT® eSE in various use cases, which represent a significant milestone for secure mobile payment and NFC applications in China and for every future holder of the new nubia series smartphones.
