Latest AirStation combines latest high performance technology with affordability

Buffalo Technology, the global manufacturer of storage and networking solutions, announced the launch of its high performing entry-level router, the AirStation WHR-1166D. The user-friendly, affordable 11ac router provides the latest technology, ensuring peace of mind while also providing dual-band flexibility.
The WHR-1166D is designed for users who demand simple and fast wireless access, with transfer speeds of up to 866 Mbps in the 5GHz band and simultaneous transfer speeds of up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. Its new and improved user interface is accessible from any mobile device, and the addition of a guest port function enables users’ networks to be shared while still protecting their devices.
The device also includes advanced user functions, such as Norton ConnectSafe, which filters unsafe web content or web pages and allows users to decide how long they wish each device to be connected to the Internet.
