Frederic Saulet appointed Regional Director for LogPoint in France, Belgium, Luxemburg and Southern Europe

LogPoint has appointed Frederic Saulet as Regional Director to head the expansion of the rapidly growing Cybersecurity-software provider in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Southern Europe. Copenhagen-based LogPoint is the leading European provider of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions. LogPoint’s SIEM solution enable enterprises to proactively monitor their networks and identify security threats in real-time to prevent cyber attacks and fulfil their compliance requirements.
LogPoint is flexible, scalable and hardware independent and very easy to integrate with log-sources from a multitude of systems providing for a speedy implementation, which is a key factor in the Information Technology market today. LogPoint collects logs from systems and applications, extracts and stores key events in encrypted format in cutting edge NoSQL - and carries out lightning fast searches using Big Data technologies. Compared to legacy SIEM platforms in the market, LogPoint is extremely and fast and intuitive by design making it a great tool for cyber security specialists and system administrators as well as management.
Working out of the LogPoint offices in Paris, Frederic Saulet will be tasked with expanding the operations in France, Belgium, Luxemburg and Southern Europe, including Italy, Spain and Portugal. In particular he will be working to strengthen the partner-based approach to the market based on his year-long experience with the partner-based sales channel. LogPoint focus on midsized and large organizations in the private as well as in the public sector and already provides SIEM solutions for more than 250 organizations throughout Europe.
36-year old Saulet is a seasoned Cybersecurity professional with 15 years of experience from the Information Technology industry. Prior to joining LogPoint he was the Managing Director for the regions of South EMEA, Benelux and Nordics at Qualys, responsible for Business Development strategies as well as developing and managing the Alliance and Channel network. Previous to this Saulet was in charge of managing the business and partner network for France and Italy at NEXThink and held various managerial positions at Trend Micro and BigFix
According to Gartner Group the Cybersecurity and SIEM-markets are currently experiencing double-digit growth. An efficient SIEM-solution will not only aid in the timely detection of cyber threats, but it is also a key tool in the ever-important process of network optimization. In addition, the implementation of a SIEM-solution to monitor and document network traffic is increasingly becoming a compliance requirement in Quality standards as well as in auditing guidelines, company policies and best-practice guidelines defined by industry organizations and public authorities.
