BeyondTrust Expands Portfolio of Experts

BeyondTrust announced the addition of five new hires to its team of specialists. Together, they bring decades of expertise in a variety of areas, including: information security, marketing, professional services, and private equity management.
Scott Carlson, Technical Fellow
As a new Technical Fellow for BeyondTrust, Carlson will provide support
within all aspects of the business including architecture, strategy, cloud
initiatives, and external communications. Carlson is able to have conversations at every level of the business and is
adept at solving problems with real-world solutions, seeing the big picture,
and embracing and driving change. Carlson’s former roles include Director
level strategy & architecture positions at PayPal (PYPL), Apollo Education
Group/University of Phoenix (APOL), and Charles Schwab (SCHW).
Sam Ghebranious, Regional Director for Australia & New Zealand
Located in Sydney, Australia, Ghebranious is the Regional Director for
Australia & New Zealand for BeyondTrust. In this role, Ghebranious will be
responsible for expanding the presence and accelerating the growth of the company in the region. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Ghebranious is a
capable manager with the ability to lead high performing teams that
consistently meet their business goals while enriching relationships with
team members, customers, and senior stakeholders. His prior positions were
Director for Advance Coaching and Consulting, Regional Director at CyberArk,
and Senior Director for Lumension Security.
Koby Amedume, Senior Director Marketing EMEA and APAC
Based out of London, Amedume is the new Senior Director Marketing EMEA and
APAC at BeyondTrust. In this role, Amedume will be responsible for
marketing operations for the company’s international operations with
specific focus on growing reach and market share. Amedume is a focused
marketing director and leader with extensive knowledge of the EMEA market.
His former roles include Group
Marketing Director for IRIS Software Group, EMEA Marketing Director at
Kaseya, and Platform Marketing Lead and Operating Systems Product Manager UK
for Microsoft.
Ho Nam, APAC Channel Director
In his new position APAC Channel Director, Nam will oversee all aspects of
partner development and management. With more than 20 years of experience
in early stage venture capital, Nam is adept at helping companies get their
start. For 20 years, Nam was the Managing Director for Altos Ventures, a
private equity and venture capital firm. While there, Nam helped
entrepreneurs build their companies from scratch to profitability, and
ultimately acquisition.
Tim Strempfer, Senior Director of Professional Services
As the new Senior Director of Professional Services, Strempfer will be in
charge of bridging technical and business requirements with a focus on
customer success. Strempfer is an accomplished IT professional with
experience in the technical, business, and sales disciplines. Through his
ability to lead and manage teams, Strempfer has grown professional services
businesses from inception to multi-million dollar organizations.
Previously, Strempfer was the Systems and Information Management Practice
Director at Dell, and held various positions at Quest Software including the
Regional Director of Professional Services, and Practice Director for
Windows Server Management and Database Replication and Integration.
