nCipher plc: Appointment of COO Global

The Board of nCipher plc, a global in protecting critical enterprise data, is pleased to announce that Ira Zalesin, formerly Chief Operating Officer North America, has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer Global ("COO Global").
In addition to his roles as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Director, Ira (52) now assumes the position of COO Global, superseding his role as COO North America. With nCipher now a truly global business, with 50% of revenues coming from EMEA, 40% from the US and 10% from AsiaPac, the Board felt it was important that this globalisation was reflected in nCipher’s management structure. The introduction of this central decision-making process is intended to create a cohesive customer experience and establish a uniform corporate identity. On an operational level, it is expected to lead to the creation and sharing of knowledge bases and best practices from across the Group’s diverse regions, thus minimizing unnecessary localization efforts and increasing efficiencies.
