LightCyber, a
provider of
Behavioural
Attack Detection solutions, announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel
Company, has named Gonen Fink, Chief Executive Officer of LightCyber, to its
2016 list of Top 100 Executives. This annual list recognises leaders from
the technology industry who have played an integral role in shaping today’s
IT channel, whether by driving huge cultural shifts, creating rich new
opportunities or forging innovative new routes to success. Mr. Fink was also
named to the Top 25 Disruptors List.
The nature of security has changed dramatically over the past several years.
Daily headlines of major data breaches discovered far too late are the norm
and are costing businesses and organisations upwards of $4 billion per year.
Besides loss of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), thousands of
cases of the theft of intellectual property and other corporate secrets go
unreported or announced. Attacks are targeted and carefully planned by
criminal organisations in a way that can go undetected for months or even
longer. According to a survey of those attending the Black Hat conference
last week in Las Vegas, 72 percent expected to be hit by a major data breach
within the next year.
LightCyber has developed a unique approach to pinpoint network intruders
that are actively at work trying to locate and gain assets to valuable
assets. With a high degree of precision and low number of security alerts,
the LightCyber Magna platform detects external attackers or malicious
insiders before theft or damage is likely to occur.
