gateProtect goes East: Expansion of Distribution Network in Eastern Europe

Following on from the expansion of its partner network in Asia, the Middle East, and North and South America, the IT security provider gateProtect is now setting its sights on Eastern Europe. The maker of next-generation unified threat management (UTM) firewalls announced today that it kicked off a partnership with the Poland-based value-added distributor Mediarecovery in early June.
With the appointment of Mediarecovery as a value added distributor, gateProtect has added a market-leading Polish company to its partner network. (Mediarecovery specializes in IT security and provides its customers with incident response systems and platforms as well as with IT security infrastructures. The VAD operates one of the largest computer forensics laboratories in Europe and helps companies investigate data leaks and thefts, the source of breaches and fraud, and security vulnerabilities in their IT infrastructure. Mediarecovery’s customers include well-known companies in the banking, insurance, energy, telecommunications and heavy industry sectors. Along with its range of services, the VAD sells products and solutions from leading global security providers via its dense network of resellers throughout Poland.
