gateProtect Unveils Version 9 of its Firewall

The German IT security specialist gateProtect presented the new generation of its firewall solutions. Version 9 includes several enhancements to the intrusion prevention system (IPS), ensuring increased protection against the latest threats. The new version comes with a completely re-engineered software architecture that gives customers a higher level of performance, security and stability, while addressing key requirements like high availability and dynamic DNS. Extra security is provided with Kaspersky Labs new scan engine, which delivers extensive virus protection. Overall, the ninth generation of gateProtect’s firewall solutions is the most stable, rapid and secure in the company’s history.
Protection from current threats
“The way cybercriminals attack enterprise networks has fundamentally changed,” explains Dennis Monner, CEO of gateProtect. “Today, small and medium-sized companies are affected just as much as large corporations.
