fluidOps and Stemmer leverage semantic technologies to tackle the problem of disparate data management in IT

October 2013 by Marc Jacob

fluid Operations, a provider of cloud and data management solutions based on semantic technologies, and Stemmer, a provider of IT infrastructure and professional services in Germany, are collaborating in the area of IT transformation and innovation with the goal of offering their customers solutions to the problem of disparate data management in IT, and enabling companies to integrate and take full advantage of cloud services.

For the last four decades, Stemmer has supported its customers – large and medium-sized businesses as well as public authorities – with competent, targeted and vendor-neutral solutions for the design, integration and operation of their IT systems. The fluidOps Platform allows for the semantic integration and management of structured and unstructured information across business and IT stacks and delivers solutions for Cloud and Big Data management in distributed environments, thus ideally complementing Stemmer’s extensive solution portfolio.

The system supports the creation of customized and automated cloud and data workflows and processes that can be precisely matched to the needs of a customer’s organization. The innovative use of semantic technologies allows users to integrate, correlate, annotate, visualize and analyze large amounts of data on-demand – enabling business and IT tasks to be completed efficiently, more cost-effectively and with fewer resources.
