Webroot appointed Quentin Gallivan to its Board

Webroot Software, Inc., enterprise and SMB markets, announces that it is reinforcing its position in the security Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market by appointing Quentin Gallivan, the most recent CEO of Postini, to its Board.
As CEO, Gallivan built Postini into a SaaS powerhouse, with over 35,000 companies using its service globally. Gallivan has also led efforts to build sales, marketing and distribution strategies across multiple geographies for VeriSign’s Security Services division, Netscape Communications and General Electric Information Services. Gallivan previously sat on the Board of Directors for companies including Postini, VeriSign Japan and Information Services Dentsu, a publicly held technology company in Japan.
