Vision-Box® unveils a new biometric periscope at AVSEC

Vision-Box® S.A. introduced today its new biometric periscope, for simultaneous capture of face and iris, at a distance.
Vision-Box® S.A. unveiled, during AVSEC 2013, a new biometric periscope, which upon detecting the user, automatically adjusts height and illumination to allow simultaneous, full-frontal ICAO compliant iris & face capture and matching. The “self-service” process takes place in a very organic and intuitive way. The user can keep walking and is not required to make any specific interaction with the periscope. Simple instructions are continuously provided via an integrated screen.
The new biometric periscope delivers:
