DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
Several vulnerabilities were announced in WordPress Core.
An attacker can bypass security features via the REST API, in
order to get non public information. [severity:1/4; CVE-2017-5487]
An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Scripting via
update-core.php, in order to run JavaScript code in the context of
the web site. [severity:2/4; CVE-2017-5488]
An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Request Forgery via a Flash
file upload, in order to force the victim to perform operations.
[severity:2/4; CVE-2017-5489]
An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Scripting via theme names, in
order to run JavaScript code in the context of the web site.
[severity:2/4; CVE-2017-5490]
The mail manager uses the fake domain name "mail.example.com"
instead of the real one. [severity:1/4; CVE-2017-5491]
An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Request Forgery via the
accessibility mode, in order to force the victim to perform
operations. [severity:2/4; CVE-2017-5492]
A weak cryptography may be used. [severity:1/4; CVE-2017-5493]
