DESCRIPTION

Several vulnerabilities has been discovered in the Novell iPrint
client.

An attacker can use the "GetDriverFile" function of "ienipp.ocx"
ActiveX control to generate a buffer overflow on victim’s
computer, using a third parameter too long. [grav:2/4]

Thanks to the use of an overfly long argument in
"GetPrinterURLList" and "GetPrinterURLList2" functions, an
attacker can generate a buffer overflow from "ienipp.ocx" ActiveX
control. [grav:2/4]

An attacker can use "GetFileList" function from "ienipp.ocx"
ActiveX control to generate a buffer overflow, thanks to an
overfly long argument [grav:2/4]

Thanks to overfly long arguments in GetServerVersion,
GetResourceList and DeleteResource, an attacker can create buffer
overflows in "nipplib.dll. [grav:2/4]

An attacker can use a malicious "uploadPath" parameter in
UploadPrinterDriver and UploadResource functions from
"ienipp.ocx", in order to create a buffer overflow. [grav:2/4]

An attacker can pass a too long argument "target-frame" to the
"ExecuteRequest" function, in order to generate a buffer overflow
from the "ienipp.ocx" ActiveX controller. [grav:2/4]

An attacker can use a too long 7th argument in the
"UploadResource" function of the "ienipp.ocx" activeX in order to
create a buffer overflow. [grav:2/4]

An attacker can pass overfly long strings in 2nd, 3rd and 4th
options of the "IppGetDriverSettings()" function, in order to
generate a buffer overflow from the "ienipp.ocx" activeX
controller. [grav:2/4]

An attacker can pass an overfly long argument to the
"UploadResourceToRMS" function of the "ienipp.ocx" activeX, in
order to generate a buffer overflow. [grav:2/4]
