SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY

An attacker can send a malicious IGMPv3 packet to Junos, in order
to trigger a denial of service.

Impacted products: Juniper J-Series, JUNOS.

Severity: 2/4.

Creation date: 13/01/2016.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

The Junos product has a service to manage received IGMPv3 packets.
