SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY

An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Scripting of FAQ OTRS, in
order to run JavaScript code in the context of the web site.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

The FAQ OTRS product offers a web service.

However, data received from an authenticated user with a valid
agent are not filtered before being inserted in generated HTML
documents.

An attacker can therefore trigger a Cross Site Scripting of FAQ
OTRS, in order to run JavaScript code in the context of the web
site.
