Twang.net has announced the opening of a new regional data centre

November 2007 by Marc Jacob

Twang.net, the Internet Service
Provider and systems integration specialist, has announced the opening
of a new regional data centre, which will bring hyper-fast broadband access
and next-generation telecoms services to businesses in the Thames Gateway.

From a regional hub in Docklands, Twang.net’s new Metro Node Data Centre
will transmit data at ultra-high speeds via a fat pipe, delivering high
quality, locally managed services to businesses in the area. In deploying
the Metro Node to gain broadband access, Thames Gateway customers also have the option to host their servers at a secure location, meaning they benefit from offsite backup and other co-location advantages.

Twang.net’s advanced broadband solutions will be delivered into the Thames
Gateway in partnership with ZyXEL, the leading provider of complete
broadband access solutions. The partnership means that organisations,
whether in the construction phase, seeking to deploy teleworking solutions,
or deliver multimedia home network solutions, can achieve superior quality
in the delivery of triple play solutions from fibre networks.

As a business-to-business service provider, Twang.net delivers High
Bandwidth Connections to many FTSE 100 companies, as well as small and
medium-sized enterprises across the UK. Its new business services include:
1:1 leased lines delivered over SHDSL; up to 1GB/s Ethernet Services; point
to point and internet connectivity and Direct EPS9/9 line replacements.
