The Cloud Team Alliance gets an Italian and a Spanish member to strengthen its footprint

The Italian Internet Service Provider Enter is joining the Cloud Team Alliance with its sub-brand Enter Cloud Suite, its cloud service based on OpenStack. It is a IaaS cloud platform, that provides on-demand computing, storage and networking services, to dynamically run workloads across different European regions, via API or Graphical User Interfaces, on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Gigas, the Spanish pure Cloud Hosting is also joining the Cloud Team Alliance. Gigas offers a unique and powerful cloud solution based on the latest technology, complete flexibility and the best customer support in the industry. The company has replicated all of the functionality of a physical data center into a virtual cloud environment offering its clients an advanced platform for critical and high quality services, on a build-it-yourself basis, using Gigas’ complete set of resources.
With those two new members, the Cloud Team Alliance (CTA) now counts 6 members in Europe: Numergy in France and Proximus in Belgium, the two founders, KPN in the Netherlands, Portugal Telecom in Portugal, Enter in Italy and Gigas in Spain.
The Cloud Team Alliance (CTA) is a group of nationally anchored and renowned public cloud providers, addressing public sector, enterprise and SMEs on markets established in the European Economic Area. They wish to create a discussion forum enabling them to answer international business needs from a European perspective.
