TIBCO Software Inc. announced the availability of TIBCO Spotfire(R) 6.5, the latest version of
TIBCO’s leading analytics platform. Spotfire(R) 6.5 brings to market a user-friendly
approach, empowering organizations to easily connect to diverse data sources,
including new spatial data sources, and create rich visualizations, enabling
analytics from the simplest to the most complex levels — all in one product. Also
included in this release of Spotfire 6.5 is the updated single-seat Spotfire desktop
product, which provides the full power and ease of use of the Spotfire platform for
individual users.
Spotfire 6.5 builds upon TIBCO Spotfire’s unrivaled strength in Location Analytics,
adding support for Esri ArcGIS(R) and WMS location data, making Spotfire the easiest
and strongest way to blend an organization’s GIS and analytics strategies. Customers
now have easy access to a wealth of demographic, climate, geographic, and other data
sources, as well as map projections that will add new layers of insight to
location-based analyses.

Spotfire 6.5, including TIBCO Spotfire(R) Desktop 6.5, will be made available to
current and new customers in May 2014.
