Below is a comment from Imperva’s CEO, on Intel’s McAfee purchase of Sentringo:

“The acquisition announcement underscores the importance corporations place on data. With IBM and Intel placing big bets on database activity monitoring, it’s clear that companies fear the loss of digital assets more than the loss of physical ones. However, McAfee will find that database protection is only one part of the data security solution as applications and file systems also provide a channel for leaching data. Imperva remains the only one with a solution built from the grounds up to address the full scope of the data security challenge.”
