SAN SENTINEL SAS becomes a member of « EMC Technology Partner Program» to continue supplying its customers with up-to-date solutions

SAN Sentinel SAS, publisher of Sentinel Navigator, a storage resource management (SRM) solution in Cloud/SaaS mode integrating heterogeneous arrays, switches and virtual/physical servers on a unique console, has signed a partnership agreement with EMC and is now a “Silver” member of « EMC Technology Partner Program » (ETP).
The ETP program allows SAN Sentinel SAS to integrate EMC technologies, enjoying access to the manufacturer’s tools, laboratories and documentation. This program also provides access to new technologies before they are available on the market. SAN Sentinel SAS can thus provide its customers with up-to-date solutions.
From a unique control point Sentinel Navigator delivers a centralized view for SAN, NAS and CAS infrastructures, switches and VMware virtualized environments, without using a single agent and within a few minutes.
The categorization, correlation and logging features provide dynamic information on how storage resources are being used by:
• Office
• Application,
• Department,
• Storage array,
• Physical/virtual servers,
• Storage level (Tiering),
• Deduplication rate,
• Thin Provisioning level
The efficient select-and-control features allow administrators to quickly isolate specific faulty elements, considerably reducing the required time for maintenance (MCO).
The agentless technology of SAN Sentinel SAS is installed within a few minutes and eliminates the never-ending version changes of solutions that require agents.
