Proact awarded place on G-Cloud 9 framework to providecloud services to UK public sector

June 2017 by Marc Jacob

Proact has successfully obtained a
place on the framework’s three lots: Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud
Support.
Public sector organisations across the UK will be able to benefit from Proact’s
heritage of success when it comes to transforming businesses with cloud
solutions - with the cloud service enabler offering a total of 33 cloud-based
services across G-Cloud 9’s three lots.

Under this framework, by the Crown Commercial Service, the cloud service enabler
can offer its latest solutions and services including Proact’s full security
platform as well as Proact Hybrid Cloud solutions. With solutions underpinned by
the latest technological innovations and in-line with current IT trends, public
sector customers can now take advantage of the best solutions available on the
market, complemented by Proact’s specialist knowledge.

Proact has previously been part of the G-Cloud 7 and G-Cloud 8 frameworks and is
further cementing its place as a trusted advisor in the public sector arena. The
inclusion on G-Cloud 9 not only demonstrates Proact’s proven credibility amongst
public sector customers, but provides exciting opportunities with both new and
existing customers to drive IT innovation by using cloud technology.

All G-Cloud 9 services are available via the Digital Marketplace, an online
resource that allows public sector customers to easily find cloud technology and
specialist services for digital projects. Public sector customers (including
Government departments, NHS organisations and Government agencies) can be
reassured that they’re purchasing high quality services with no hidden charges
and no contractual ’lockin’.

G-Cloud frameworks are frequently re-tendered to ensure that they contain the
latest services and suppliers. G-Cloud 9 follows a new lot structure that aims
to better define which lot each service will belong to. Additionally, suppliers
have been asked to provide improved detail about their offerings, especially
relating to security.
