Pilgrims Provides Checklist for CONDO Training Changes

August 2010 by Marc Jacob

Risk management and security training expert Pilgrims Group is helping to ease the growing burden facing contractors in staying compliant with regulation whilst operating alongside the MOD.

Earlier this year the MOD published an updated issue of its Defence Standard 05-129 document containing a number of significant changes that affect any contractor, employee, subcontractor’s employee or where applicable, locally recruited worker, working as part of the MOD’s operational theatre (Joint Operational Area).

To help those companies affected check that they’re compliant with the new regulations, Pilgrims has posted an easy overview of these changes and what they mean.

Pilgrims has been delivering high quality CONDO training since 2003 and is an approved member of ADS. The company’s specialist CONDO courses cover 10 core subject areas. Working in tandem with global operations to understand current and emerging security trends, Pilgrims tailors its courses to reflect its clients’ operations. This ensures that training is relevant to where the client is deployed. “We adopt a progressive style to training that achieves impressive results; re-enforcing modules by constantly questioning delegates and role playing scenarios ensuring key criteria is absorbed,” explains PGL Training Manager, Sam Mostyn.
