Photovoltaic Infosec UPS System
August 2010 by Marc Jacob
From now on, Infosec offers photovoltaic UPS’s: the P2 SunRise. Available in 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 watts, the P2 SunRise was created for photovoltaic installations at home. It provides an excellent conversion of solar energy with maximum reliability and minimum loss in power. Sold with the VDE 0126-1-1 certificate, the P2 SunRise has an anti-islanding protection in line with current standards. Its case is also in line with the IP65 standard, which means it is resistant to water and dust. The SunRise P2 can be installed both inside and outside.
Solar energy, an inexhaustible energy source
Energy is a major issue and solar energy is available everywhere on earth. In this favorable context, the solar energy market is rapidly expanding and will become an important energy sector in years to come.
Why use a P2 SunRise UPS in a photovoltaic installation?
Solar panels capture the sun’s energy and produce direct current (DC). The P2 SunRise UPS is an electronic power circuit, which converts the DC to AC 230 V. The AC will then be returned to the EDF network and / or used on site.
