Pentera and SASETY, the 3 pillars of an effective partnership to protect organizations

A few months after they launched their partnership, Pentera, the leader in continuous cybervalidation and SASETY, the French expert of SASE Managed Services have carried out multiple projects in different sectors of activity (media, real estate, finance).

1. The risk of cyberattacks has never been greater
Organizations are now aware that the cyber threat is one of the very first risks to their business. For the most part, they have made significant investments to protect themselves and to react quickly in the event of an attack. Technological choices, services and providers are rarely to be questioned. However, the slightest failure in the deployment of solutions, their coverage and their maintenance in operational conditions is the main cause of the success of cyberattacks. The only way to avoid this situation is to regularly monitor the effectiveness of protections and fix vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers. This is the challenge that the Pentera solution responds to.

2. The Pentera solution
Using the most advanced attack techniques, the Pentera solution makes it possible to carry out ethical attacks automatically and regularly in order to highlight static and dynamic vulnerabilities. These tests are performed from both the outside and the inside, covering the entire attack surface of the organization.

The results are accompanied by the procedures to be put in place to remedy the vulnerabilities at the origin of proven attacks (encryption and exfiltration of data, leakage of identifiers, decryption of passwords, etc.).

"In general, by addressing the TOP 5 vulnerabilities that allowed our attacks to succeed, our customers increase their security posture by around 80%," says Jérôme BEAUFILS.

3. The expertise and proximity of the Pentera and SASETY teams
The challenge of cybersecurity requires appropriate support. From the initial mock-up to the widespread deployment of the solution, the Pentera and SASETY teams work closely with their customers. All projects give rise to a model phase carried out in situ, in a secure setting during a day in the presence of the authorized persons, the CISO and then the CIO for the restitution. This step is essential to present the conclusions of the tests, the maturity score and share on the priority actions to be undertaken. The model phase often generates an awareness between the perceived level of security and reality.

To achieve this objective, the SASETY and Pentera teams provide regular support throughout the duration of the contract with the tests and analysis of the results. They make recommendations, monitor the implementation of remediation actions and support their customers in the adoption of new features.
