Old Mutual Mitigates Hardware Spend and Halves Hyperion Helpdesk Calls with Triometric

Triometric announces that leading international long-term savings group, Old Mutual has mitigated hardware spend and halved associated helpdesk calls using its real user monitoring solution. By monitoring its 200 licensed Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) users worldwide, Old Mutual has realised time savings; with employees able to keep working and in a timely fashion. The Company has also improved internal customer satisfaction, mitigated the risk of performance glitches and therefore financial reporting failure and ‘sweated its assets’ by avoiding unnecessary hardware investment.

Triometric was selected for its unique ability to report right down to application level; from web forms to data grids and specific activities such as calculates, translates and consolidations performed on them. Old Mutual Group was also impressed by Triometric’s distinctive benchmarking approach to testing which compares the idealised pre-production test with the first ‘live’ quarter real world performance.

Ongoing Old Mutual Group is now able to quickly identify where problems arise for speedy resolution, such as non-standard web browser settings. The support team can not only vastly improve PC performance, but can issue advisories to all staff to ensure the issue is not replicated elsewhere within the organisation.
