September 2017 by Marc Jacob

Netwrix Corporation announced that new add-ons for Linux and Unix are now available in the Netwrix Auditor Add-on Store for all customers for free. The add-ons are designed to help customers strengthen their security posture through better control over their entire IT infrastructures.

The Add-on for Privileged User Monitoring on Linux and Unix Systems enables customers to:
• Stay in control of privileged actions across their *nix infrastructures, including temporary privilege elevations and remote privileged sessions.
• Improve user accountability, data security and operational stability by detecting improper access to critical server infrastructure.
• Facilitate security and compliance investigations by preserving consolidated audit trails.

The Add-on for Generic Linux Syslog enables customers to:
• Enhance control over activity across the entire Linux-based environment by providing a single-pane view of Linux system logs.
• Stay alert to risky behavior patterns and investigate suspicious activity with the Google-like Interactive Search.
• Streamline reviews, incident investigations and compliance checks by keeping the trail of syslog records.

Netwrix Auditor is a visibility platform for user behavior analysis and risk mitigation that enables control over changes, configurations and access in hybrid IT environments to protect data regardless of its location. The platform provides security analytics to detect anomalies in user behavior and investigate threat patterns before a data breach occurs.

The Netwrix Auditor Add-on Store is a one-stop shop for free add-ons built to integrate Netwrix Auditor with your IT ecosystem. At the moment, the Netwrix Auditor Add-on Store offers add-ons for Linux and Unix-based systems, Cisco network devices, Amazon Web Services environment, RADIUS Server, and a variety of SIEM solutions, including HPE ArcSight, Splunk, IBM QRadar, AlienVault USM, Solarwinds LEM, Intel Security and LogRhythm.
