NYK Logistics Signs Up for Subscription-based Managed Service from Partners in IT

Partners in IT announced that NYK Logistics, one of the fastest
growing logistics companies in the UK, has subscribed to Partners in
IT’s Subscription-based Managed Service.
Michael Taylor, Head of Service Delivery, NYK Logistics, explained:
"Significant growth within the business is increasing the dependence on
our IT services and as a result we need to develop greater reliability
and stability within our IT infrastructure. We want to move as quickly
as possible to levels of best practice but in such a way that we can
illustrate return on investment to our business colleagues." Taylor
discussed NYK’s requirements with Partners in IT and identified the need
for the team to move from a reactive approach to more proactive
management; to better align IT services to business goals; provide
assured levels of service at an understandable, competitive and fixed
cost; and produce best in class ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library)
processes for Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.

effectively and quickly drive the alignment of IT service delivery to
