LocalTapiola chose Nixu as its cybersecurity partner.
The LocalTapiola Group is a Finnish mutual group of companies that offers non-life, life and pension insurance as well as investment and saving services to
private customers, farmers, entrepreneurs, corporate customers and
organizations. In LocalTapiola’s line of business, the customers’ trust is the
key to success and information security is therefore critical and must always be
up-to-date so that information about the customers’ insurances, pensions and
investments do not end up in the wrong hands. Uninterrupted operation of online
services is also crucial to the customer experience.
The fight against sophisticated cyber threats requires fresh tactics and new

The cooperation agreement between Nixu and LocalTapiola includes the Nixu Cyber
Defense Center (Nixu CDC) service, which provides real time supervision of
digital environments, intrusion investigation as well as an up-to-date snapshot
of the organization’s web service threats. Nixu CDC also conducts attack
testing, and it always has access to real time information about current cyber
threats and the latest attack techniques, which it can respond to using state-of-the-art technology. Thanks to the cooperation with Nixu, LocalTapiola has
access to an agile defense system that combines the latest cybersecurity
technology with the skills of top professionals in the field.
