Kaspersky Lab calls on IT decision makers to participate in a study of IT security risks and challenges

Kaspersky Lab has joined forces with The Bathwick Group, a strategic research and consulting company, to discover how companies are using IT to respond to changing business needs.
Kaspersky Lab invites organisations of all sizes and across all sectors in Western Europe and North America to complete the online ‘Be Ready Assessment’ questionnaire that will form the basis of the study.
In return for completing the questionnaire, companies will receive an instant, personalised evaluation of their IT security risks. This ‘Be Ready Report’ will provide information on security priorities and potential areas of focus along with suggested next steps and quick wins to help the company prepare for the threats that lie ahead. Participating companies will also benefit from free early access to the full research report and personalised peer comparisons.
“We urge businesses to take the assessment,” said Andrew Lintell, Corporate Sales Director, UK and Eire, Kaspersky Lab. “This will not just help us gather the best and most relevant data, it will also provide direct business benefits for participating companies. The personalised report they receive will stimulate debate and help with decision-making and planning by highlighting IT security risks that need to be addressed.”
The online questionnaire will guide companies through a number of critical areas, such as IT security risks and challenges, the approach to IT security and the implementation of new technologies.

The ‘Be Ready Assessment’ questionnaire can be found by clicking here. Responses received before 30th December 2011 will be included in the research report, although the questionnaire will continue to be available after that date. The report is expected to be published in early 2012.
