KDDI and Telehouse launch Telecloud

Telehouse together with parent company, Japanese telecommunications KDDI, has launched a portfolio of enterprise Cloud solutions deployed within its state-of-the-art, highly secure data centres.
The Telecloud portfolio of flexible services range from the provision of Cloud infrastructure, managed private Cloud environments, a public virtual data centre (Telecloud Shared VDC), storage and disaster recovery and Software-as-a-Service solutions.
According to latest research carried out by the Cloud Industry Forum, 53% of organisations polled have adopted some cloud solution with flexibility and cost-savings as the major drivers. When asked about the concerns in migrating to the cloud, management identify data security (64%), data sovereignty (62%) and dependency on internet access (50%) as the three major issues.
