Interoute completes ISO 20000 certification for Unified Computing Solutions

February 2014 by Marc Jacob

Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest cloud services platform, has completed ISO 20000 certification across its Prague Operations Centre and Amsterdam, Berlin and Geneva Data Centre operations. The comprehensive scope of the ISO 20000 certification aligns to ITIL service management industry best practices applied to Interoute’s Unified Computing. The certification represents a significant milestone in Interoute’s continued efforts to provide quality and secure outsourced business technology solutions to the world’s leading organisations.

ISO 20000 represents the accreditation standard for ITIL service management processes, providing an internationally recognised ICT service management standard for corporate quality assurance. Interoute applies ITIL controls across the Unified Computing service management life cycle to ensure quality operations are in line with clearly defined process performance metrics.

The accreditation provides Interoute’s customers with verifiable third party audited assurance of quality process controls applied to their critical outsourced business information technology. Interoute strategically manages quality and security through integrated ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 policies and process controls applied across the company’s operations and customer solutions.

Interoute provides dedicated Service Managers and technical service management resources to ensure customers are supported across the lifecycle of IT services.
