Integralis Wins F5 Networks’ ‘Deal of the Year 2011’ in EMEA

Integralis, the UK’s largest IT security solutions provider, announced that it has been recognised by F5 Networks, the global leader in Application Delivery Networking (ADN) with the award of ‘Deal of the Year’ in EMEA for its work with a large high street retail bank.
Integralis, a Gold Partner under F5’s UNITY programme, worked closely with the customer to first develop a global design for its web architecture, and then to deploy the F5 BIG-IP platform to intelligently load balance and accelerate the shared applications contained within major production and disaster recovery data centres. The project included deploying BIG-IP Application Security Manager to protect web facing applications from external attack, as well as configuring and deploying BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager to provide a fault tolerant data centre failover solution.
This project has contributed to improved service availability and scalability across the bank’s operations worldwide. In addition, the customer has seen a reduction in its infrastructure operating costs as the shared service approach meant infrastructure consolidation was possible on a grand scale.
F5 is one of Integralis’ biggest vendor partners and the companies are currently working on a number of projects across a variety of customer sectors. Integralis has been a Gold partner since 2000 and part of the F5 UNITY program since its introduction in April 2010. Integralis is also an F5 Gold partner in Germany and Austria.
