F-Secure redesigns SAFE

F-Secure has launched a new version of its multi-device security service for consumers, F-Secure SAFE. SAFE has been redesigned to deliver a simplified user experience, where with a single security subscription consumers can protect all of their household’s PCs, smartphones, and tablets, and even share security with loved ones anywhere in the world.
Internet and cybersecurity threats have become regular news, and people are confused about what kind of security they really need. It’s no surprise that over thirty percent of respondents to a recent F-Secure survey said they rely on the advice of others for security software recommendations, making it second only to price in influencing buying decisions.* According to Antero Norkio, F-Secure Director, Device Security, this shows that security is becoming more social, making it only natural to provide people with a service that lets them create their own SAFE circle to protect other people and devices.
F-Secure SAFE cuts out the complexities of installing security software, especially those related to license keys and activation codes. SAFE users now simply use their My F-Secure credentials for a smooth installation experience. With this single set of credentials, SAFE users are free to start securing devices with software that can run on Windows, OS X PCs, and mobile devices running iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.
The new release provides comprehensive, award winning security capabilities from the cloud to SAFE users and people in their SAFE circles. Specific features are tailored to suit the different operating systems and devices, and offers people access to benefits like Internet security that protects against viruses and malware, browsing and banking protection, parental controls, the ability to find or remotely wipe data from lost or stolen devices, and more. SAFE has also undergone a significant visual upgrade to make it easier to use, and understand the value security provides.
Annual subscriptions to the service are priced at €59.90 for three devices, €79.90 for five devices, or €99.90 for seven devices.
