Dynamic investment ignites UK channel for StarLink

StarLink announced a successful
first year of operations for its European business and promises to ignite the UK
channel, following dynamic investment in its UK entity.

Over the course of the last 12 months, in Activate mode, StarLink’s offices in the
UK were opened as the regional hub for Europe. On-the-ground teams were deployed,
and key emerging vendor contracts were signed, with an intent to immediately add
true value to the security market in the UK and Europe. The primary goals for the
first year were to recruit key talent, develop strong vendor partnerships and build
a focused Channel network. All of which are integral parts of StarLink’s success.

This achievement is pivotal to StarLink’s worldwide expansion plans, which target
global markets outside of the Middle East, and are currently focusing on Europe and
the US.

The strategic recruitment of Niall McGrane, who comes with a wealth of over 20+
years of experience in the European security channel space, will be instrumental as
he leads a team committed to delivering StarLink’s proven and successful True VAD
model, across the region.

Key milestones for StarLink in the UK:

· Opening an operational excellence center in Bracknell, a UK IT hub,
bringing StarLink closer to its vendors and customers, with access to skilled and
qualified resources
· Signed distribution contracts with 7 best-of-breed vendors that provide
next-generation IT Security technology including cybersecurity analytics, privileged
access management, database auditing & monitoring, real-time threat
intelligence, data encryption solutions, automated threat detection & response,
vulnerability management & penetration testing
· Recruitment of 12 resellers in the UK and 10 resellers in mainland Europe
· Demonstrated StarLink value by providing enhanced incident response
capabilities for a UK two-tier financial organisation that faced a major breach.

In line with this strategy StarLink is to host their next security event,
exclusively for new partners, in early December; Part of a series of high-level
sessions, hosted by the team, that is typical of the StarLink approach. Assisting
resellers in bridging the gap between their existing portfolio and the range of
next-generation IT security vendors, who benefit from StarLink’s local support.
Working together, partners can then deliver complete solutions to achieve compliance
and next-generation threat protection for customers, whilst maximizing margin and
loyalty from their customers.
