Devoteam offers international and French students the chance to invent the campus of tomorrow

September 2017 by Patrick LEBRETON

Devoteam announces the launch of the second edition of its student competition, Devogame. It is open to teams of 2 to 6 students from engineering and business schools and international universities. Devoteam thus wishes to bring together the points of view of the French, German, Dutch and Belgian students who will participate in this unique adventure.

Enrolled students will have 60 minutes to complete a virtual game. They will then have until 19 November to work on a detailed proposal. Two teams per country will be selected on the following criteria: creativity and innovation, added value of the project, consideration of the user experience, potential for launch in the short term, budgetary feasibility and quality of the oral and written presentation.

On 15 December, the finalists will present their projects in TEDx format in the premises of Devoteam, before a grand jury of four members including Stanislaus de Bentzmann, CEO of Devoteam and a representative from Red Hat, a trusted partner of Devogame since its first edition. The winning team will win a trip to the CES in Las Vegas in January of next year. In the company of the experts from Devoteam, the winners will have the opportunity to promote their project and to discover the world behind the scenes of this technological innovation get-together. Devogame is also a good opportunity for the most talented students to join Devoteam. Last year, 80 teams from 42 different schools were able to put forward their digital innovation skills. This year, Devoteam expects to recruit 1,500 employees, including 900 in France, bringing its overall workforce to 5,000 #DigitalTransformakers.

Devoteam thus confirms its desire for the diversification and internationalization of talent with the recruitment of graduates from engineering schools (45%), top business schools (20%) and universities (35%).
