DTI Completes Acquisition of Merrill Corporation’s Legal Solutions Business

DTI announced that it has finalized the acquisition of Merrill Corporation’s Legal Solutions business.
The acquisition expands the DTI platform in both scope and geographic reach while adding legal service operations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. The Merrill Legal Solutions lines of business included in the transaction are eDiscovery, Deposition and Court Reporting and Facilities Management. Merrill employees within the Legal Solutions group and some support services employees will transition to DTI as a part of the acquisition.
The acquisition will expand the capabilities of DTI to help the world’s leading law firms and Fortune 500 corporations accelerate the changes needed to remain competitive in today’s legal landscape. The legal industry demands top-tier legal services providers, like DTI, that can deliver discovery and litigation support services on a global basis. The acquisition of Merrill Legal Solutions strengthens the ability of DTI to provide seamless services across the globe.
