D-Man version 4.0 to be General Available in Q3, 2010

SecurIT announces that D-Man version 4.0 will be available in September, 2010. D-Man is a secure, light-weight, open-standards based monitoring system that is focused on monitoring IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager and IBM WebSphere application server.
D-Man is a solution available that addresses the specific requirements for these secure environments. Indeed, D-Man is able to handle issues such root-cause finding despite the complex interdependencies with back-end systems, test of user-facing web authentication pages, and coping with operational security constraints related to management of exposed servers, amongst others.
Version 4.0 of D-Man introduces a whole set of enhancements and brings the following benefits :
The performance and scalability of D-Man is now enhanced; by using an embedded database and the Jetty Open Source low-footprint application server, for D-Man agents. Fail-over for the central component of D-MAN, the D-Man Data Manager, now allows customers with strict monitoring requirements to continue to be able to monitor their environment, even in the case of a failure of a D-Man Data Manager.
The D-Man now offers a new graphical user interface. This new GUI, allows to customize the screens to suit with each user requirement. More convenient split between the View and Administration Interface also eases the daily use.
The D-Man Data Manager, in addition to being usable through its own GUI, also provides some APIs in the form of Web Service, allowing customers to create interface hooks between their own application or deeper integration with their Enterprise System Management software.
Last but not least, additional monitors are available; to better manage IBM Tivoli Identity Manager and SecurIT TrustBuilder software.
In the context of the forthcoming version 4.0, SecurIT is proposing its customers a temporary limited offer to buy and implement D-Man at reduced cost.
